Prof. Suyong Kim joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University (SNU) in 2026. Before joining the department, he was a postdoctoral associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2024 to 2026. He received his PhD in 2024 from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT. Prior to his PhD studies, he earned his bachelor’s (2015) and master’s (2018) degrees in Mechanical Engineering from SNU.
